Both Ashperton and Burley Gate put on a wonderful portrayal of how grass roots football should be played. Infact it came down to penalties to decide who were the victors.

The tournament was fabulous with so many parents, reletives and visitors turning up to support the children. The weather couldn't have been better with a bit of a cloud cover and plenty of sun and not too chilly.

We would like to thank all the teams for attending and all of the teachers for their hard work mobilising and organising the teams. We are already looking forward next years event with great anticipation.

Finally, although Tim Waight is part of our club we would like to take this opportunity to thank him most sincerely for leading the organisation of the event. An immense amount of time and effort goes into the planning and physical hard work of getting everything right for the big day. Tim puts in all that hard, dedicated work and every year it pays off.
