The brand new team had their debut pre season friendly on Saturday morning. It was an early 9:30 kick off for the 8 year old boys plus one girl at the warm, sunny, nicely mowed and marked Bishops Frome pitch.
The game started off fast paced against the seasoned Tenbury, Bromyard held there own until the 15th minute when Tenbury slotted a fast paced shot in making it 1-0. The new team fought on until Tenbury found the back of the net again at the 25th minute making it 2-0, two great goals by Tenbury.
In the second half Bromyard did well keeping the opposition at bay with some solid defending, some great attacking runs and they got some decent shots on target. The young team managed to stop any more goals from going past their keeper and also the crowd witnessed some fantastic saves by goal keeper and the captain for the game Theo Brittain.
Not bad going for their first EVER game together! Both teams, coaches and parents enjoyed this edge of the seat exciting match!
